Day by Day
Day 1- Campo Grande / Pantanal Lodge
Arrival in Campo Grande, our staff will pick you up at the airport to drive you the Pantanal lodge. Walk for an introduction to Fauna and Flora of the Pantanal after arrival. Night Activity: drawing and first draft of the bird list* of the trip.
*Birds’ list will be filled day-by-day, according to species found on the tours.
Day 2 - Pantanal Lodge
Jeep safari to a nearby ranch to visit the Pantanal School Vale do Rio Negro that hosts children from first to five grades. Visit to the educational project and interact with children and teachers. Return for your lodge for lunch. Afternoon dialogues on Pantanal Culture & basic lesson to learn how to use the lasso before a horseback riding tour. Night Activity: play traditional indoor games from Pantanal.
Day 3 - Pantanal Lodge
Milk cows in the corral before breakfast an departure on a boat trip for wildlife watching and beach activities (fishing, swimming, sunbath, play in the sand). Return to the lodge and play treasure hunt after lunch. Afternoon activity: horseback riding joining cowboys on cattle ranching. Night activity: stargazing and constellations.
Day 4 - Pantanal Lodge
Canoe trip and beach activities (fishing, swimming, sunbath, play in the sand) in the morning. After lunch, Jeep safari in search of animal tracks and picnic at sunset. Night activity: drawing & check the birds’ list produced during the trip.
Day 5 - Pantanal Lodge/Campo Grande. End of the Pantanal with children trip.
