The powerful combination of conservancy and tourism in Pantanal is generating an incredible growth of wildlife sightings, especially for Jaguars (Panther Onca), one of the most majestic wildlife species on Earth. This expedition was created to take travelers for a maximum number of Jaguar encounters possible and best photographic conditions, always supported by a strong team and professional services.
Day by day
Day 1, Inbound Flight / Cuiabá
Meet your tour leader by your arrival at Cuiabá Airport. Transfer to the hotel and free time to rest/relax or enjoy the hotel facilities. Dinner and overnight.
Day 2, Cuiabá / Hotel Porto Jofre Pantanal
Depart from Cuiabá, drive slowly through the Transpantaneira Road enjoying the sceneries and wildlife sights/encounters. Lunch at a local restaurant by Pixaim River. Afternoon continue driving/exploring through Transpantaneira Road until Hotel Porto Jofre Pantanal. Arrival for check-in followed by a sunset walk watching birds & wildlife on the surroundings.
Days 3 & 4, Hotel Porto Jofre Pantanal
Two full days on boat trips divided in morning and afternoon explorations, always in private basis and escorted by your great leader plus an experienced local driver. Days start with an early well-served breakfast, followed by the group’s meeting at the hotel’s marine deck. Explorations search for Jaguars at the rivers Cuiabá, Três Irmãos, Corixo Negro, Piquiri, Negrinho and several other tributaries. Travelers will be looking for Jaguars at all times, but will also have great chances to watch and photograph many other wildlife species as Giant Otters, Black Howlers, Capybaras, Caimans and an immense variety of birds, according to presented opportunities.
Day 5, Hotel Porto Jofre Pantanal / Cuiabá
Full morning exploring the river by boat, return for check-out and lunch. Depart at 13h00pm on land transfer through the Transpantaneira Road until Cuiabá. Check-in at Hotel Deville and overnight.
Day 6, Cuiabá / Outbound Flight
Transfer hotel/airport. End of Pantanal Jaguar Watching trip.
