Iguassu Falls

Iguassu Falls / Iguazu Falls

Iguassu Falls or Iguazu Falls is one of the TOP tourism destinations in South America and presents a wide range on hotels, tours & travel services for people who want to visit a real representative of the world’s natural wonders. Fairly known as the prettiest and most impressive set of waterfalls on the planet, Iguassu Falls was elected as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986. The original name comes from the indigenous Guarani and Tupi word “Iguazu”, which means “Big Water” - once you get there you will see why.

Sitting by the Iguazú River, on the triple border of Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay, the extraordinary Iguassu Falls are protected by National Parks on both Brazil and Argentina and are formed by 275 different waterfalls spreading its waters in an area over 1.5miles wide! During a normal flow Iguassu Falls delivers about 1000 cubic meters of water per second - a massive amount of water, a real show of nature to see, hear and feel!

Visiting Iguassu Falls / Iguazu Falls

Iguassu Falls / Iguazu Falls is a must go destination for anyone. Travelers will be mesmerized by the power and magnificence of the falls, but will also be delighted with the whole picture of Iguazu: a combination of landscapes, forests, plants, wildlife, birds and sounds of the largest protected area of Atlantic Forest still existent.

Most of the travelers stay for 2 days to visit Iguassu Falls on both Brazilian and Argentinian sides. The best overall views are at the Brazilian side, but the closer views of the falls are in Argentina, so it is indispensable to do both!

Tours at Iguassu Falls are mostly walking along the several walkways of the parks, which were built in different levels and distances, so visitors can see the falls from above and below, from far or to the edge of it!
